We are excited about starting the New Year with our new name, Cape Fear Estates and Auctions, which is complimented by our addition of Elegant Transitions. Elegant Transitions will focus on families downsizing or seniors relocating to assisted living care. Because transitioning is such a stressful time of life, we maintain and promise the compassion and dignity that is deserved by all!

We are completely under new management with new goals, ideas, and most importantly, new faces. I would like to "reintroduce" myself as Mazie A. Haley…previously Flewwellin…this is the most exciting new change! I am a licensed North Carolina auctioneer as well as a licensed North Carolina real estate broker. My main goal will be to please the customer first. In that regard, we will be concentrating on liquidating estates by tag sale first, depending on the size of your estate and the location of your home. However, if you have a large estate with plenty of parking we may recommend having an on-site auction. For a better return on your personal property, liquidation by “tag sale” will not only protect the price of your belongings, but also control the crowd of buyers who attend your sale. Through estate tag sales, we will be able to "ethically" and "morally" name the price for your belongings.

Because of our vast array of knowledge of used furniture, antiques, and collectibles we will be able to evaluate each situation on a case-by-case basis and recommend the best solution to each individual’s need. Our goal is to bring our customer the most profitable return for their merchandise as well as making the buyer happy with the merchandise we offer.
